The Foundation
-
The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Foundation was established by Deed of Trust as a charitable organization on October 26, 2015 with the role of providing, in perpetuity, financial support to all components of the Regiment.
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Trustees and although operating at ‘arm’s length’, works very collaboratively with the Regiment in providing financial support to the components. This in turn assists in perpetuating the history, customs and traditions of the Regiment as well as supporting members of the Regimental family. The charitable purposes of the Foundation are at Section III of the Deed of Trust.
